  • 25NL zoom 6max. AA facing x/r OTT in 3bet pot.

18/16/0 over 53 hands. Are villain ever x/r with worst here? FD would have x/r flop instead, I am blocking the NFD also. Would be weird for villain to take an aggressive line with their OP(less JJ) after being passive Are we pot committed OTT here?

You can consider not having a 3b range here, because we look so goddamn strong when we do 3b.

As played... we only have to be right 20% of the time. I'm probably sigh calling. Villain still has QQ and KK in his range (i believe 4betting KK utg vs mp is a mistake), so we should expect to lose a fair bit, but expect the call off to be +EV.

Sucks that we block both flush draws though.

Given that you 3-bet a tighter player opening from EP his calling range pre may be much more pairheavy as compared to a button defender for instance. So in this respect he can't get to the turn much with hands that he may decide to turn into a semibluff on that card now - some might play 88-TT or slowplayed QQ-KK like that but I kind of doubt it when your range looks strong. He might have raised 66 along with FDs OTF already and we block both NFDs, so I like a fold here without further info/reads.
