  • 2NL FR Zoom, 78 on BTN, +EV turn play?

Hi, Flop was good, but was it correct to get stacks in on the turn? Or could I've saved a few chips when the board paired on the river? Cheers, DrJ

Given the strength shown by the cut-off, the only viable other option is to shove the flop.

      Hi DrJ,

I think the only mistake here was not raising on the flop... slow playing this situation will cost us a ton of money in the long run. V9 has marked himself with a big hand, so most likely a big pair or flopped set. The ace is a great example of why we should raise directly on the flop... this card will scare 88-KK away from giving us their stack. In the case of a set like he actually held, a 2,3,7,or 8 are action killers. Get the action sooner rather than later, while it's ripe for the taking.
