  • 10NL ZOOM 6-max. Nut straight + SFD OTF on MWP

Put UTG on an OP, not sure what the other player flatted with. Was going for a x/r OTT as I find it really strong if I check-raised OTF into the 2 of them, given a PSB & a call. But turn was an action killer... Should I have x/r on the flop? While some villain might fold out their OPs, I might be able to rep a lot of draws which their OP have decent equity against and get a call?

This is a great example of why x/raising flop is better.

Sooo many cards can kill our action or give us an inferior hand (board pairs etc).

Especially multiway and deep, we should be check/raising flop, betting turn and shoving most rivers.

Agree with birdayy, we should utilize our great relative position here and bloat the pot with a check/raise. Both players have an interest in the pot and even though your line will look strong there are no real great alternative lines in your position as ugly turns may get checked around anyway.

As played I like your river size, still nh.
