  • 25NL 6Max Zoom - Overbet jam with flopped flush

Unknown villain Is felt that this was a good spot to shove as it looked like a flush draw. Also in case villain had the naked Ac, I was charging him the highest price to call and try to outdraw me. Should I have raised to a more conventional amount as a better shot of extracting value?

Call pre is very debatable. Deeper i'd prefer calling. 100bb it's a fold man.

Except another club what turns are we afraid of? We are in IP with the effective nuts. Just call and let him barrel off his Kx.

      Hi spand

Jamming flop is arguable. But preflop, again, it's one of those hands were I would prefer 3betting with OTB just because on 25nl you might get squeezed more often and with QTs its a bit weak to call a squeeze.

If this is a limit you are a regular at then having an unknown could mean a generally weaker opponent since you haven't encountered them as often. I would generally give them credit for a hand when they do 3bet and they make it 2.75 too not 3 or 3.25 so looks more recreational. For the flop line, when we shove on a thinking player they might not put us on a made flush because they might expect us to slow play there and a timid player might find a fold so really it depends on our opponent. If they have a hand like AA, AcKx they are going with the hand anyways but they might fold a hand like JcJ. It's one of those spots where I might go for a click back actually to induce a shove or setup stacks by the turn.
