Hi, UTG is a maniac 44/32/8 over 167 hands. Short stack that flats is 42/17/12 over just 12 hands. And SB is unkown These guys ranges are so wide that I decided to 3B for value here. What to do on the flop ? Cheers!

I think you played this hand pretty much perfectly.

Your preflop 3Bet is a good size, betting both for value (especially against the maniac) and to try and isolate. I think if you get 4Bet, you should just get it all in and be happy to play for stacks, even though the maniac is UTG.

OTF I think your CBet size is fine. Generally in 3Bet pots you can CBet smaller compared to 2Bet pots as the SPR ratios in 3Bet pots is much smaller, making it easier to get all in. If you were heads up against the maniac, you could consider slowplaying intending to check/raise shove if you think he's more likely to bet as soon as he sees weakness than call a bet. However with V6 in the hand, I think you should just bet for value and hope to get action from one of them.

I'll spin the guessatron and guess that V6 had JJ.

        Thanks for the insights guys.
He had 44. Yeah I was surprised as well lol.
But I'm happy with my play, I think I'll make money on the long run here.
