  • 5NLz 6-max, btn calls my open KQo and raises c-bet - new info bet?

Just a betting line in a no read zoom hand. Well the btn had 2012 red label that means "you raised on a zoom cash table"!

So the tightness of some players could be calling on the btn with equal or better hand strength to my KdQh. And I don't think there is much value in a btn 3bet in position to fold out worse.

Ok now the betting line. I make a cbet on a 83Qhhd flop and get raised a good size. My Qh needs runner runner and still not good even a straightening draw may lose. So the flop raise? It has to be AQ, semi-bluff heart draw or a set.

With all that (over thinking?) the turn looks a blank and again a good turn bet. Not feeling too happy but thankfully they check down the river.

Unwinding the line was that flop raise an information bet?

PS. Same thing keeping to a theme: flop raise info bet, (not HA) but @2NL turn bet looks weaker got AA don't care unless better than 1 pair bets river.

    Hi Forrest,

He's repping a pretty narrow range of hands, since he didn't 3b pre, about AQ, 33, or 88 and the river reduces those combos. I think your play is fine. If he makes a big river we should probably fold.
