  • zoom, wut to do on turn?

its just happening like once in every of my 30 hands now...
i just get sucked completely on relatively "safe" turn .... should i be just checkcalling turn + fold river ? cuz most of villains will be pushing over-allin river anyway... probably some would checkcall river if third diamond came... but some players wont even stop there... so i prefer to still push my set on turn

i have downswing of 14 buyins for last few days cuz of hands like this + some bigger suckouts

but i found that i actually got used to suckouts more than before... i mean, i can still play solidly after getting multiple suckouts in few hands(100) and can still make "working bluffs", but it still wont help me to avoid another and another suckout which far outweights profit from my "bluffs that worked" (but im actualy pretty good at finding those spots and not doing them too often, etc)

I think you played this hand absolutely fine.

OTT, Villain might well have AQ or JJ, but I think it's more likely that he makes this move as a semi-bluff play with Axdd or Axhh, giving him a straight draw and flush draw. He might even play TJ like this.

Even against his specific holding, you've stil got a 22% chance of winning the hand.

I think the check raise on turn should set alarm bells ringing. Would like to think the fold button can be found.

      THAT BEING SAID:

Bottom line was you were unlucky here, their call on flop was horrendous at best,

Note them, buddy them, tag them and hunt them.

What would your line be as v4 with AQ on the flop?

        I would normally bet fold.

butt a lot of players dun fold on flop if haz at least anything... so checkcall is still good especially u can suckout some sets or Q9 with that play like he exactly did

Depends on histories and other factors, and tbf anyone who has an active history deep with our hero would have some interesting stats, but check calling is just horrible here....especially basically calling pot.
