  • 2NL 6-max Zoom, KK on BTN, always correct to go all-in?

Hi. Zoom table, so villains are unknown. Is it always correct to put it all-in with KK in these situations? Could he have other than AA here? Cheers, DrJ

I think with an Eff. stack of ~100BB you should be looking to stack off KK pre-flop, especially in 6-max. The chances of the villain holding AA are too slim to contemplate folding.

Without some serious stats then I dont see how you can fold.

This is 2NL Zoom 6 max, I have been playing in that pool of players recently, as I wind down my year. Some of the stack offs are amazing. Anything from overvaluing middle pocket pairs to calling my shove, when I held KK, and rivering a 5 high flush when he called off with 45s.

You didnt make any mistakes here.

Villain 5 on the other hand, he kind of proves what I said above, people stack off too wide in 6 max a lot of the time.

The guys have said it all really.

At pretty much any cash game, unless I've got some serious reads or the opponent does something really strange like cold min 5Bet, then I'm perfectly happy to stack off with KK.

You'll see a lot of AK, QQ and some JJ and worse here, you are of course crushing all those hands.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. Always nice to get some second opinions on these things.
