  • 25NL 6Max - Overbet for value

Villain 26/12 AF:2.12 (185 hands) Sitting with a huge stack, probably not a reg because he's only playing two tables. Seems to be quite passive - earlier he checked back AT on Axx flop after we didn't CBet. I've been quite aggressive at this table - particularly against the current villain and the villain on our right. I'm happy with the preflop/flop play but would be grateful for comments of course . The turn is obviously a pretty interesting card as likely gives us the best hand very often, as we've counterfeited his 44-99 hands. However he continues to stick around and not raise, so I'm fairly sure I've got the best hand here. What do you guys think about the river bet sizing? I thought worse hands might think this was really bluffy and look us up. Could we be value-owning ourselves?

I personaly don't like the c-bet. It's multi way, paired board and villains calling ranges have a lot of pocket pairs that will call the c-bet.

      Hi spand,

I don't like it. Big bets on the river don't look bluffy, they look like value bets. We're making it really hard for this guy to show down 77 and A4s, and he wants to, so let's encourage him with a bet of about $7.50 imo.
