  • 10NL 6-max Zoom KK 3B pot

Hi, villain is playing 20/17/8 and F3B=0% over 146 hands. I usually make 0.80 with my 3B IP, but since we were deeper I made it a little bigger. Do you like my play here ? What range would you put villain on ? Cheers!

I agree with everything until the turn.

I agree with your bet - we need to extract full value from 99/JJ/QQ. However I think this is a pretty clear bet/fold spot, despite the strength of your hand.

Villain's line is incredibly strong. He's called a big PF 3Bet and check/called the flop. He's clearly already got some reason to stick around. Then in the face of another big barrel, he check-raises you all in.

Villain's range is ALWAYS Tx or 88 here. If villain had QQ or JJ, he'd either check/call or perhaps even check/fold.

On the surface it's a tough laydown but it's the sort of fold you have to make if you want to be successful at the micros. Once you start recognising these situations, you'll see profitable bet/fold situations crop up all the time.
