  • 10NL 6-max Zoom AJo on BB

Hi, villains is playing 50/33/20 and AF=6 over just 12 hands. Like I've said before, I'm having a hard time navigating with these kind of hands (AJ,AQ,AK) on 3b pots when I don't hit. Is check fold here too weak ? Since this guy seem pretty aggressive and will be every time I check with all his range. Cheers! umbup:

You don't necessarily have to 3-bet AJo from the BB as you're closing the action already. I would preferably 3-bet those medium strength hands if you expect villain to be flatting a lot worse and you have a pretty good idea of how to proceed against him in case you flop TP, a draw or nothing at all (like here).

In this case I'd just x/f flop as I don't expect anything better to fold and even "worse" hands like FDs, straightdraws etc have very good equity against our no pair hand.

Hi, I usually 3B AJ here versus LAG opponents and just call versus TAGs. Since he seems to be raising too much ( although the sample size is not enough) I decided to 3B.

Which kind o hands you mean by 'medium strength hands' ?
      Like 88-TT and KQs ?

      Bye!
