  • 2NL 6-max Zoom - River decision

Villain reasonably loose passive with occasional spewy "wtf" tendacies. I think up until the river I do everything correctly knowing I can easily get tons of value from this villain even if I scream "I haz monster hand" (not too worried about AK in this spot). Then the river comes the 9 (also heart) so pretty much everything got there. I think perhaps a more skilled villain would recognise this as a potential bluff card (albeit a ballsy move to do that, especially at 2NL where you don't get too many hero folds), but I think this can never be a bluff so I fold, even given the amount of money in the pot. Is my thinking here along the right lines or no? Answers on a postcard lol Cheers

VNH and don't ever feel bad about folding this. Yes, he can have a couple of busted lowcard FDs or even Nutflushdraws that he may bluff but he will also have a lot of Kx and 8x combos that he will play exactly the same. After all he is loose/passive so he will also be afraid of your straights when he holds a worse made hand.
