villain 13/8 cbet F 64, T 64 1k+ hands so Apparently he has a big hand here, what do I do in this spot, should I fold pf or can I call to setmine? I talked myself into calling the flop on the assumption that he may have AK that will give up on the turn

    Hi Pray,

Firstly I never have a problem giving up early vs. a nit who wants to put a lot of money in. I know we have QQ, but it's not the holy nuts or anything. This is the only player type I'd consider folding to. I also don't have a problem 3b/getting it in preflop here either, as I think his range is probably more than AA/KK even 11xing UTG. I would generally include JJ/TT/AK. In short, it's close, probably not a huge difference in your bottom line going either route.

What you can not do is call to set mine. You already know this math.

Also, making the assumption he will give up the turn doesn't seem right given the stats you have... his turn c-bet is the same as his flop c-bet, so if anything I'd expect once he c-bets the flop he's going to be betting turn. If he was giving up with AK, that would probably fall into the 36% of flop missed c-bets more likely.

At the local live casino I play at - an 11x raise is not that rare and it nearly always means 88-JJ and they're scared of seeing overcards OTF. I don't think this applies to online so much though...
