  • 25 NL 6max Zoom: best line on flop with str flush draw

Hi, this hand just occurred on 25NL 6max Zoom. I got a great flop, but was unsure how to proceed after the btn raise and bb 3bet.

I wasn't concerned with the btn since he was short stacked and not a regular. I only had 3 hands on him and he had played two of them.

The btn was my concern. I only had 14 hands on him running 29/14. I assumed he was capable of raising a draw aggressively, or an overpair in this spot. My hand rates to improve to a straight or flush beating an overpair, but I may run into a better flush draw.

I wasn't sure if I should call the 3b hoping to entice the btn to stay in the hand, possibly drawing to a better flush. Or if I should raise big in an attempt to force him to fold drawing hands. I opted for the ai raise since it seems he might still call this if he has a big enough overpair.

    Thanks for your input!

Yeah I just doubt you can fold your hand -- its simply too strong and never drawing dead. Between the % of time the button folds to a shove (whatever % that is, we can't be sure) and the equity you will have in the pot + the dead money in the pot, your best course of action here is definitely to move all-in as you do and let the board run out as it may. umbup:
