  • 2NL 6-max Zoom TT

Hi, villain is playing 37/23/20 AF=1,6. Should I've continue teh turn so I can worst pairs to call or avoid a bluff on teh river ? THe river i decided to fold since I could only split at best.

I'd sometimes just flat the raise, as I think there's more value in taking that line. 3-betting TT might take the pot down quite often, but you only win 3bb, and TT does not play well against the range that villain continues with in a 3-bet pot. In short, it's hard to get called by worse when you 3-bet. You can just flat, as you have position and can float just about all flops and take it away on the turn.

Having 3-bet, I'd probably check behind on the flop. If you have the worst hand, then villain is never folding, but your hand doesn't really need protecting, as the turn will be an overcard to your pair less than a third of the time. Even if does come a K, Q or J, villain doesn't necessarily have it. If he leads the turn, you can usually give him credit for a better hand and fold, but if he checks, then you can take it down.

As played, I think you have to check behind on the turn, as Ax seems like villain's most likely hand, and he's never folding a boat. It would be a pretty random float OOP if he doesn't have an ace, so you have to fold the river.
