  • 5NL 6-max Zoom AQo 3B

Hi,the villain is playing 36/21/0 - fold to c-bet=38% and fold to 3B = 0/3 over just 42 hands. Did I played it bad ? I think that maybe I should check teh river, but he was so calling station that he would stack with a lot of worst hands. Any thoughts on the hand overall ? Very surprising to se him holding 8To there. Thanks umbup:

    Hi fp,

Let's look at the river. What is his range of hands to be calling flop and turn with that you are still beating after this river card?

So we know he's loose preflop and sticky on the flop only folding to c-bets 38%. But presumably he's got something when he calls the flop, right? What is that loose flop calling range? Any pair to the board? Pair+draw? And any draw?

Out of that wide flop range, we are still beating: AJ, AT, JT

Hands that are beating us at the river: AK, KQ, KJ, KT, K9, QJ, QT, Q9, J9, T9, TT, 99, T8, 98, A8

When you break it down like this, the river looks like a clear check/fold.

Agree with Dave. I think shoving river is too thin on this runout.

If it was a brick i'd like shoving for value.
