  • 2NL floped set

No real info on villains but they don't seem particualrly strong players. Plan was essential set mining and when I flop my set it's looking like a decent spot for a check/raise with the flop being wet and all. Both villains check it and I feel like they can't be super strong or they're scared and taking a free card, I'm not really sure at this point but feel I'm still good as it is. Turn it gets wetter and I make a decent sized bet but then when both villains call it doesn't give me any more info. River means JT gets there which my gut tells me is a possibility but I still feel I can get called by lots of other hands so I bet for value and get some serious action. Should I be folding this even though I'm getting a good price? Tbh not even sure if this is where my mistake lies, perhaps I should have taken a completely different line, donked the flop perhaps. All thoughts appreciated, thanks!

I'd fold preflop. The squeeze seems to give you good odds but you are also in a very bad relative position and you don't know if the other player will join the party to give you additional implied odds.

As played something inside me screamed "fold" but I think calling river seems appropriate as I can't really credit any of them for having KK or AA given the flop action. 3-Bettor could have AK/AQ besides QQ of course and the inbetween caller could also be overvalueing two pair.

I think my tiebreaker for such a decision would be my impression of both villains. The weaker players I think they are the more likely I am to call it off.
