Hi, the villain is unkown. I decided to play this hand passively since I think that if I kept firing, the villain would fold hands like AK with some spades which if I checked he'd certainly bet since he'd never give me credit for a queen. On the river I decided to shove since he was certainly pot commited but I wasn't sure he'd bet with a flush fearing a fullhouse. Any thoughts on how I played the hand ? Thanks umbup:

Hey fp_boss Preflop, flop, and turn are excellent, so there are no questions there. Our question is on the river. I think villain would bet the ace of spades fairly often. To them, your hand doesn't look like a full house (or better ) at all, it looks like a weak hand that is trying to showdown. The other thing is if we check we may inspire a suicidal bluff some small amount of the time. Even though this happens rarely, the times it happens we win 100% of the bet size, so it has a lot of value. I think since full houses and good flushes, the As and Ks, are liable to bet as well as call a bet, and there aren't that many other hands that call a bet but don't bet themselves (can you think of any?), we should check and expect to get extra value from his bluffs that are trying to take away the pot from us. Your flop and turn decision with the board crushed here are great, and should be your standard line umbup:
