  • 2NL. Calling a shove with bottom set

It's a zoom hand. Both villains are unknown, player 5 I have no data, player 8 I have 9 hands, he played none of them. I put player 8 on some kind of a strong draw, that wants to put money in know, when he has good equity or a made hand that doesn't want to take chance that a scary card will come on later streets, something like AK, KQ. Is it a good idea to get all in with bottom set deepstacked?

    hi Predanni,

I would get all in here, yes. Since most players would reraise preflop with KK at least, I would range V8 as something like QQ, KQ, AK, and KhXh where X=J,T,9. Perhaps a big draw like JhTh/AhJh/AhTh. We are well ahead of that range, so no problem stacking off our set here absent more definitive reads.
