  • 25NL 6-max zoom. A4s on btn and 3-bet co open, c-bet 737r flop... sick river call

    Hi,

Got a bit lost here and I know my river play needs a lot of work.

    I have A4s on btn and 3-bet a co open then c-bet 737r flop...

    Honestly I couldn't work it out >>sick river call<<?

Maybe you guys can tell me all the combos. Can it be x7s calling a 3b oop or it must be be an over pair.

It has to be a "value" hand to get a call and I did turn "some" equity. Calling the river bet here is probably -EV.

Hey Forrest Well we did turn a bluff catcher. Do you think he is bluffing? I think he could be sometimes with something he took off on the flop like AJ/AQ/AT even KQ. He doesn't need to do so that often for us to justify calling this small bet size. On the other hand, this really looks like a pocket pair better than a pair of fours. So his value bet might just be milking us to death. Hard to be conclusive in a spot like this. I think a bit bigger preflop is one comment I would make. On the river I could go either way. River AFreq is a great stat in this spot to make the difference. umbup: If its over say 33%
