Those moments you flop the world, worried about 1 card, within 2 seconds you make a bet and then realise it was a bad 2 seconds of "actually thinking" and should not bet.

I like the idea of the game flow and I will continue as the player taking the 3b betting lead pre, but on a nut board?

When do you slow play a monster in a >>3-bet pot oop<<?

This is out there now as my worst value bet on the flop.

Normally I'd check and get 1 street of value from the villain, then call and maybe check raise the turn for a guaranteed 2 street of value.

But here I just think I really messed up?

PS. No loose aggressive bluff here.

First off, 3-betting preflop is nonstandard so there should be some good reasons for it. I assume you had those reasons with villain opening wide and folding to a lot of preflop 3-betting.

Either way on a board like that I would always bet flop since it's an actionheavy board. Villain won't fold any TP, Pair + Draw, Diamond Draw type hand. Since he flatcalled your 3-bet he may have a ton of those types and you want to build a pot - you're alos a little deeper so than 100bb so I would really want to get a shot at stacking villain with the nuts.

In case he has small pairs or suited connectors in this spot he cant give you action anyway so there's not really anything to worry about.
