  • 10nl 6max, bottom set in a multiway pot

i only have stats on villain 4, and he is a really loose passive player. get dealt 22 on the BTN and one player limps in front of me. i dont usually limp along, but since i have no stats on the limper yet and behind me is villain 4, i decided not to raise to keep him in. flop gives me bottom set and the initial limper bets half pot. i raised because its a multiway pot and didnt want to get outsetted by someone with a pocket pair or two pair and hits a boat. is this right, or should i just call to keep more players in to blow the pot? OTR should i bet bigger?

I like preflop against loose/passive limpers if they are not folding to cbets a lot.

On a dry board like this with the weak blinds still to act I actually think it's fine to slowplay and see if you can drag them along. Raising seems fine too so you can isolate the weak limper and build a pot.

As played I would bet turn and river much bigger since people hate folding pairs on dry boards regardless of the price, especially at microstakes levels.
