Hi all, I'm pretty new to the game and would like some feedback on how I maybe should have played these hands. I hope this works.. Thanks

    Hi Black,

Thanks for posting and welcome to the hand analysis forum! Looks like you posted that right, the only thing to bear in mind for the future is we ask you to only post 1 hand per thread when requesting analysis... that way if discussions ensue it's easy to follow which hand everyone is talking about.

Hand 1- I don't mind completing the SB here with A4s although raising the limps can be an option. In a loose game where opponents make tons of large post flop mistakes (and play money fits this bill) I prefer completing like you did. On the flop I would lead right out, we may well have the best hand and certainly the best draw to fall back on when we don't and we'll get called by worse hands. Turn we have to bet... we don't want a free card to come off and scare a Q away from betting (if it's a spade) or lose action from the Ks, Js, Ts that miss (but would call the turn). Lucky a dude punted his stack to us, get it in with the nuts obv.

Hand 2- preflop I like your raise fine. When the flop c-bet get called Id' just shut it down. I expect to see a lot of A-rags and flush draws, and it all gets there. I think over betting the river to bluff is -EV long term vs. loose opponents who rate to have a strong hand.

Hand 3- I like it fine on all streets, although I might have raised directly on the flop.

      hand

Thanks for getting back to me so fast!

I'll be sure in future to just post one at a time.

I'll work on raising sooner and see how it goes.

Still getting used to it all
