Seems a fairly standard cold deck to me. Nothing much you can do really, sometimes you'll win these sometimes you won't... that's poker

Agreed. I don't like flatting behind and seeing a 3-way flop with my queens, so the shove is the only way to go. There's a small chance they would have folded had you shoved the flop, but I can't call off here. After all - he might have jacks or 10s and fold the flop too which is what I don't want. I'm getting my money in here all day long.

        Hi kingkong,

I agree with the others... the answer to your question in the subject line is, you can't imo. Don't be results oriented, just because you lost to AK (who's limp/call/call is pretty bad btw, hope you made a note on this villain!) doesn't mean you made any mistakes. You definitely want this all in pre after V3 shoves his short stack and V6 calls... V6's range here is going to include a lot of weaker aces, broadway cards and smaller pairs. All that stuff you dominate and all that stuff gets away from you on a lot of boards they miss. Once in a while you'll flip with a passive AK or be caught by AA but against his range you're crushing, very +EV to get it in pre here.
