  • 25NL Zoom 2pairs Vs Strong Line

Villain was 47/27, AF: 2.0 over 15 hands. Flop Fold to Cbet: 33% (3) I think it's a pretty standard line he took. I've seen guys at 25NL raising flop with 1-pair and draws. I decided to call flop and turn in case he was on a draw like KT, then reevaluate the river. River he bets large, playing it like a set. Can we make the call here with 2 pairs?

Love how you played this hand and think there are no real alternatives without reads on your opponent. He seems reasonably loose and aggressive, you're fighting a SB vs BB battle in which people tend to go crazy so calling down is absolutely fine here imo. His Valuerange is QJ, 66 and maybe even worse 2 Pair since he might call stuff like J6s/Q6s too - and he may semibluff KT/T9/picked up diamonds OTT etc.

Wow impressed by your reads Felix! He had 9h5d so was playing me with trash 3 streets. Hardly see this at 2 or 5NL. Flop no obvious flush draws so I guess sometimes they play back with the raise. If he had raised me on the turn instead, would we have changed our actions because of Baluga?

His range would probably be a bit stronger OTT, but I would still not consider folding since his range shouldn't change by too much - and its blind vs blind after all.
