  • 2NL 9-max: QQ against limper

I don't have any reads on the villain since this was the third hand I've played. Was this a good fold ? Honestly I can't see any hand that I beat bet the river for value (AT maybe). Thanks umbup:

    Hi fp,

You do have one read, the villain is limping in EP so likely a weak player. I think the river fold is good, we really only have a bluff catcher. AT is basically never in his range, as it's unlikely if he limp/called pre with it that he would then follow up by raising the flop with 2nd pair on a wet board. And the click back min-raise is a tell (when done be weak players) of a big hand. So I'm inclined to give him credit here. I think with your draw you can call the min-raise, and the turn bet is too small to price you out, but it's good to release to the larger river bet, this is rarely a bluff and you don't really beat any of his value range on this horrible river card. So I don't think we're good nearly often enough to make calling him down correct here.
