  • 5NL Zoom, Good notes

I encountered this new player at 5NL Zoom tonight. With so much action pf I was seriously considering folding since AA seemed just about the only thing he could be playing. I made a note of the action and gave him my LAG donk color after the hand.

Five minutes later I meet him again and get plenty of pf action. Normally this would be an easy fold, but based on my notes from the earlier hand I decided that calling is the best option against such a maniac.

Note taking in Zoom is worth the effort! Be happy if Stugegun shows up on your table LOL!

Hi Roland, Nice work. umbup: I am not folding KK in the first hand, since villains can show up with QQ and AK at least here (and if they are looser, far worse). I would only consider folding the KK if the villain was a super-nit, but readless I'm going with it. Nice read in the 2nd hand. Never even dreaming of folding given the read on the villain, in fact I'm 3-betting hoping for exactly the response you got. With QQ the only real question here is how many fist pumps to make before getting it in against this guy. I'm partial to 3. Dave
