  • I had the most equity!!

I did indeed have the most equity (which I wasn't expecting to see when they tabled their cards) but I made a bit of a hero laydown. I thought I'd let the crazy gang fight it out between them, and also I didn't have the balls to sweat it with them!!

EDIT: Deleted the frustrated snark ... guess I'm kinda tired and grumpy Hey Cpt.Kev, it's nice to see u so active with the blogging and the hand review and all that - even though you unfortunately didn't find out about the 6-max full ring challenge until after it started, that's cool that you're kind of 'shadowing' the thingie ... that's what I did with the first one, and it kind of worked out nice in that there wasn't that pressure to meet the volume and stuff like that And one advantage to not being part of the challenge maybe is that you have the freedom to play BOTH 6max and full ring? So you can do a little bit of everything I've had so many of the same ups and downs and frustrations as you, but like that's so awesome that you've been profitable the entire time you've been doing your challenge - I wasn't profitable for like several tens of thousands of hands of playing cash ... like it was a very long time. So you seem to be doing great!! Nice job!! Although I can also relate to that quality of having high standards for yourself and being your own worst critic too. Anyways, here's the stuff I put about the hand before ... how like only because I studied the pot odds for various multiway draw-heavy hands do I know that in the moment by scrolling through the various scenarios whether it's likely a situation is +EV or not to call. And from that study, bottom 2 pair tended to not be good enough to be getting proper pot odds against the whole range of hands that people might be stacking off with overall - like possible sets, as well as made flushes, where 2pr would be very, very behind? Looks like you saved yourself a ton of money by folding, eh? umbup: Best of luck at the tables!!! Hope you crush!!!!
