Do you think this size raise is a sign of a strong hand or were they just defending their blind? Thanks.

Could go either way depending on the player, they could be trying to get some extra value with a good hand. Or they could just be trying to fold out a sb steal.

You just have to observe players and see who does this and which of the 2 options it is.

I'm definitely calling here and seeing a flop.

Without reads or info it's tough to know whether this is legit or just a blind defense (as people do tend to defend wider blind v blind).

Don't really like calling out of position, AJo is going to be hard to play well post flop OOP. I would rather 4b this to about .28-.32c and it's an easy fold to a 5b. If we get called, c-bet any board for about .30-35c seems about right.
