  • 2NL 6max top 2 pair facing turn shove

Villian stats were 29/24/2.8 over less than 100 hands. I'm loving the flop obviously and then he shoves the turn which made me throw up in my mouth a little considering how my session was going!! My first thought was set of 6's, but he should probably have raised the flop with the flush draw out there and an ace to get value from. 79 also got there which is a possibility. I didn't have any reads on him as he hadn't done anything that I noticed. Call or fold I suppose is the question.

don't rule out A8 spades, which you're currently ahead of, but they have a number of outs on you (flush or an 8). They'd see the flop in position with it, then hit top pair with a flush draw.

88 could be... but that hand should have folded on the flop.

79 only sounds reasonable if its in spades. 4 outs to a gutshot straight on the flop to a player that raised preflop, then c-bet an A high flop and another over, should say to them that the only way they win is the straight and not pairing either the 7 or 9

10's would also make sense, not just 6's.

If it were me, I'd probably muck it (unless I had a read on the opp bluffing the turn).

There are so many possible combo draws here. , , , , , , He could also be spazzing on T8 or 86, and he's very likely to do this with . 97 is possible as are 66 and 88, and TT is so unlikely since you have a T in your hand. I think we're ahead of too many of his hands to fold here, especially getting about 2 to 1. And we still have some equity with top two even if we are behind to a set or straight as any A or T should win it for us. We only need to win this about 36% of the time to break even, and I think we got that covered.
