  • Beginner Poker books

I have just started playing poker and would like to improve in any way i can. Are there any top recommended poker books i could learn of?

    Thanks.

at the moment im reading 'the mental game of poker'
The book is about how to control your emotions at the table.
I don't think it's a great book for beginners but you could try it!

i think that the book easy game vol 1,2 and 3 by Andrew Seidman would be a very good start.

I recommend Building a Bankroll by Pawel Nazarewicz, if you are a cash game player

Are there actually more volumes? Tried to look it up as I'm interested in some reading myself but I'm found references to a 3rd edition of Easy Game, but not to a volume 3, or 2 either.

3rd edition has them all in, cant recommend it as a 1st book though, well not unless you want to re read it later on down the line like i will when i might actually be able to work out some of the stuff he is on about.

I agree with Mike. 'Easy Game' is a little more advanced than you need for now.
I'd go with Pawel Nazarewicz's "Building a Bankroll" and Nathan Williams' "Crushing the Microstakes", particularly if you're playing full ring 2NL/5NL.
