  • What Happened to PokerStove?

After reading a bunch on here about PokerStove, I decided to go looking for it to download and use. What I found is that http://www.pokerstove.com is now a generic GoDaddy page. Checking in on The Wayback Machine shows that the site was still up as recently as January 22, but it seems to have expired and been taken over by GoDaddy at some point since then.

I also took a look at Andrew Prock's Twitter account and he hasn't tweeted anything since December 25.

I have found one "free download" site that offers PokerStove 1.12, but it requires you to download and use their ad-supported download manager, and I avoid those things like the plague. I've also found indications that the latest version is 1.21, and I'd rather start with something current.

Does anyone know what might have happened? Anyone have any personal contact with Andrew Prock? I'd love to figure out what the deal is...

There is the odds calculator on PSO that works well.
Also equity lab is an alternative but was too complicated for me.

The link to the odds calculator is at the bottom right hand corner of the home page.

              Good luck

                      Pokerstove

Pokerstove is now an open source project on Github:

                      https://github.com/andrewprock/pokerstove

You can donload a zip file of the whole project and the windows executable can be found in the win32 directory.

                      Regards,

no need to downoad the whole zip file

just navigate to win32 directory on page, click on the setup exe and then click on the view raw

Yep, but when I tried that I was getting a file that was about 25kb, so I went the zip way,
