  • poker Tracker 4 and Windows 8

Has anyone installed poker tracker on win 8? if so did you have any problems. I can't seem to get mine to work.

It won't create data base and I tried installing in a c: not program files, tried a few things. Not working.
Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

    Hi Karen,

Pokertracker have a support section on their website. You would be much better asking for help there.

I hope you get it sorted

      Hi Karen,

Not a user of either product but you need the 64bit version of the SQL server for Windows 8.

      I hope that helps.

      Cheers

          OK,

We are getting into a technical minefield here but here are your options:

PLEASE NOTE THESE ARE MERELY SUGGESTIONS AND IF YOU DECIDE TO FOLLOW THEM YOU DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK

          1. Uninstall the current SQL server and then try to download the 64 bit version.

          2. If that does not work things then start getting tricky. Did you get restore discs with your PC that will restore it to the original settings? If so that is probably the safest thing to do: you will lose all your data but if this is a new pc it should not a big issue.

Check out the Microsoft support site before proceeding with this as you will definitely need discs or recovery media that came with your pc

          3. There are other options but honestly you need to get an IT specialist to do these for you and it may save you a lot of time and hassle to just do that.

          Cheers,

          TC
