  • The Theory of Poker

Had a week off last week and took some time to read a book called 'The Theory of Poker' by David Sklansky. By far one of the best poker books I've read and highly reccomended!!!

Anyone else any good poker books that they would say was worth reading?

I read the Harrington on Hold’em books years ago and thought they were awesome. I guess it would depend on where you are experience wise in your poker life.

          I would recomend:

"The mental game of poker" vol. 1 and 2 by Jared Tendler
"Winning Poker Tournaments One Hand at a Time" by Eric Lynch, Jon Turner, Jon Van Fleet

and since you've mentioned David Sklansky I add "Tournament Poker for Advanced Players".

Sky Matsuhashi's books are very good & I believe Peter Clarke's "A grinder's manual" is also very good although I am yet to read it myself.
