We have had lots of talk about single hands but what about position?

    How important is it really?

So i have been playing in 19Honu62's challange and have completed 83 sit and gos all 25 cent buy ins. most are 45 man 1 is a 90 man + i'm playing in one now (final table 7 left). I am in the black with an ROI of +15.6

What do you think of my positional stats for this span?

Position VPIP... ....PFR ....Win % ....WWSF ....BB/Hand ....WSD ....WTSD
    Button.. 17.83.... 13.57.... 10.72.... 43.96.... 0.28.... 50.... 65.93
    1 .........14.04.... 10.33.... 8.74.... 53.42.... 0.24.... 59.52.... 57.53..
    2 .........14.21.... 10.93.... 8.2.... 53.25.... 0.24.... 60.98.... 53.25
    3 .........14.52.... 12.3..... 8.3.... 46.97.... 0.12.... 42.11.... 57.58
    4 .........12.97.... 10.81.... 7.39.... 53.85..... 0.1.... 61.29.... 59.62
    5 .........13.46.... 10.09.... 7.34.... 52.94.... 0.87.... 76.19.... 61.76
    6 ..........8.73.... 7.14.... 3.97.... 14.29.... -0.26.... 20.... 71.43....
    BB ........13.57.... 8.59.... 25.03.... 31.91.... -0.21.... 51.26.... 31.65..
    SB ........21.24.... 11.3.... 12.8.... 49.6.... 0.01.... 52.86.... 56....

I realise this is not a hand history but i would liek evaluations from everyone.

    Thanks

    Pretty standard results.

The reason I say that is you are opening nearly as often in EP and MP as in LP, but your win % and your BB/hand % are reflecting that flat entry standard. My guess is you are entering so widely oop because you are able to do so quite often for limps.

The important stat you need to be looking at is how much MORE you are tending to win in the latest 3 spots. This really sheds light on how important position is.

Your small sample size seems to have given you a skew for your UTG +1 play, but my guess is that in that spot you are tending toward more AGGRESSIVE entries on tighter hands, and you;ve just happened to catch a dis-proportionate number of "big hands" when UTG +1.

    My suggestions:

    - Tighten up just a leeeeeeetle bit more UTG +2, to closer match your ~9% entry UTG. That small difference could be caused by something as simple as limping small/med pp in EP a bit oop often, or a skew in quality hands in that spot.

    - Try to work your 2,3,4 seat entries to around 12% or so. The small difference between that and what you show could just be a few too many limps with spec hands.

    - 14 to 15% is fine in the BTN and 1 seats, especially with your raise %. 17 is fine on the button, because a lot more spec hands become playable there when NO ONE has a chance to raise you off draws pre flop except the blinds.

Not bad overall, not bad at all.

SOme random stuff will give you better answers later tonight.

Small blind - Dont limp the small blind and get in the pattern of raising if first to act

Position 6 - Something isnt right there. Your going to showdown way to often and losing.

          Dear Iseecookies

Remember these are from 84 45 man games only so the sample size is small. as we lose players quick in a lot of these games i have less hands for position 6.

If people think it would help i can post some thingures from a losing period. (but dont think too badly of me.
