    I like your raise preflop.

Where you need to make a larger bet is on the flop. You bet 1250 into a pot of 3248, or 38.5%. By betting so small of an amount, you priced in anyone drawing to a flush. If it were me, I'd have been making a bet of probably about double, or 2500-2600. That way, you can take the pot down there, or the opp will have to pay more than what they have equity in the hand, to see the turn.

When the 3rd club hits on the turn and the opp checks, I'm making a value bet there too, if for nothing else, to see if the opp has clubs. If you get raised, you know you need to fold. By checking the turn, you let the opp see the river for free... which can cause a problem for you.

When the 4th club hits on the river, you know you're in trouble and I agree with your fold.

Due to playing the flop and turn passively, you knew that you were beat on the river. If you bet more on the flop or bet the turn too... unless the opp had two clubs in their hand, you could have won the pot then.

Thanks for the reply and valuable input sir.

The reason why I bet that small on the flop, is because there's a flush draw on the board... and the opponent is what I call a maniac, no matter how high the raise pre-flop, if he limps into the pot, he'd call to the river, with whatever hand he's got and one of his favorite is suited clubs...

But overall, you've given me a very helpful input...

      Thanks again sir.
