This guy is a bluffing machine. He bluffs almost every hand, almost every street and puts a lot of raising/check-raising etc. I check the flop because he probably would check raising me after my CB. I was quite active lately and I've noticed that he is paying attention to this. On the turn I was almost sure that if I'm going to call here he is going to fire another bullet on the river and I didn't really want to get a big bet from him because I would be facing a hard decision and probably would fold that although I "sense" I was ahead here. So I min re-raised him on the turn (I didn't do such play before in this session and I've re-raised only with made hands and bluffs that nobody saw) to see what is my situation. I think that after his call on the turn it was very hard for him to fire out a bluff on the river or even value bet with small pair.

Flop check is good. You keep the pot small and more importantly allow him to keep barreling. Hate the turn min-raise unless you think it will induce him to 3-bet a draw or air. Now he pretty much has to check to you on the river. I'd rather call and let him bet the river for me. If checked to bet the river for value--he can call with worse. You played this hand better than villain for sure. Villain should have potted the river since he has no showdown value but can represent that draw. He's beating what, ?
