  • AJ and the house of pain

Is it ever worth it to play AJo from early position?
I think it's better to just fold it otherwise you're stuck playing a hand that could get you into serious trouble if you flop good out of position.

    What do you think?

    I despise a-j - it is my nemesis :P

I definitely bail on it EP
You might be a king or a little street sweeper, but sooner or later you'll dance with the reaper.

early? bubble? late? reads on others? chip stack?

those will be my determining factors. Early in a tourney... auto muck. Mid-late, can be totally different story, depending on the situation.

yeah folding AJ early is standard in early pos, but later stages i think its fine to play AJ given reads ect

Yeah obviously when your M drops low, your options are limited and you gotta go with them. Still my damn nemesis hand heheh
