where you went wrong on this one was that you should have folded to the raise on the flop. You only had an open-ended straight draw (8 outs... IF.... nobody hits a full house, because then you're drawing dead). With a pair on the board, especially with a broadway straight card being the pair and four people in the pot... most of the time, someone will have trips that can easily improve to a full house.

If this is from a PSO game, you're not into positive points yet, since it's early.... you you only want to be going all-in with a made hand... not on a draw.

it's getting harder day by day because i am reading inproving( i am trying) learning etc. waiting for my shots to come getting shortstacked seeing how people who are not even on the leaderboard are stacking chips if they are getting peanuts in a peanut plant.

      frustrating

Envy has no place in poker.
Degrading your decision process in hopes of "changing" perceived bad runs of "luck" will only result in changing your decision process...not your luck.

Do not lose the forest thinking only about the trees.
Those people who you lose to via suck outs are NOT all one person. YOU are one person. "They" are various different people, making a variety of mistakes, but YOU are the only person who is effected by THEIR mistakes.

YOU cannot control what "they" do, you can only ADJUST to what you've seen "them" capable of doing, to make it more profitable for you to play them.
YOU cannot control "luck"; sometimes you will do everything right and lose, sometimes you will do everything wrong and win. I'd rather do everything right, win OR lose, for that has more long term sustainability.

How about pushing pre-flop? We're down to 8½BB, so 3 folds would be great (if unlikely). We're OOP post-flop, but we rate to be favorite against their limping range if we get it all in now.

It's not wise to push here because these 3 opponents are fools, i've seen them call almost Every whole Card they get. I was trying to get points here.
