    that's a tough board for pkt 10's. Diamond flush draw, plus a number of straight draws.

    the turn card would have scared me bigtime too, because it completes the straights, then the river completes the flush.

    I like the flop bet, but when your opponent calls it, they basically have to be on either the straight or flush draw. When they make an almost pot-sized bet on the turn with 4 to a straight on the board, instead of raising, that's where I'd have considered getting off the hand. I do agree with you that at that point, it's either a push or fold and if you push, you do have one draw at 10 outs (20% for you to win if they have the straight).
    Honestly, I wouldn't have put them on an 8 either (only way would be 88).... BUT... KQ diamonds is definitely in their range and that's what I would have put them on.
