Nothing to fancy for my first post

Im have 10 BB, it is folded to me on the button. I have 39o but fold equity on the players in the blinds. I push get called by AJ.

    Too wide push range?

Terrible hand. It's barely better then 72o. The ante is 50, people expect steals from the button, I'd be more inclined to bet my stack that the next 2 cards I got were better then 93. Only time I'm ever playing 93o is when I have 2bb left and the bb hits me.

You have 15 BBs...that's a lot more than 10. You can wait for a better spot.

You are pushing into two big stacks in the blinds from the button and over shoving in a spot where any one with a hand would 3x,so it smells funny and you got looked up.
You can get down to 10 BBs before you have to push this wide.

Make a point of being aware of the stack sizes in play or yet to act before you shove atc.

          Sorry I meant 10M
Of course my hand is horrible. At that spot my first though when it came to stacks in the blinds and their stacks is that it is hard for them to call. Respectively half to 1/3 of the stack sizes.
Your comment makes sense however. I could have almost any two so I might get called lighter. Is that the right reason to fold?

In actual money tourneys big stacks are looking for smaller stacks to call allin to add to there stack.
Players either get to active like you did or they nit up trying to min-cash.
If you want to win a tourney you need to find those other big stacks that play the same as you and take that chance before the bubble to become chipleader.
Of course this is when you are above average stack,so your play is not as strong as you think it might be,since a big stack is not getting knocked out when they call you.

39 is a insta fold and I think you give it value because it is suited.

No don't give it value for suited. I have passed that station a long time ago:P Just because I thought they might actually fold sometimes. In that case my hand value was kind of irrelevant.
You made clear why that assumption (false claim of fold equity) was wrong.

Imho its too bad of a hand to risk them calling, look for a better shot later, that is just too weak of a hand umbup:

Against someone who will call you 100% of the time (i.e. call with any two) you have 40% equity. Cranks this through an EV calc and you win on average T$420. If you are never called (100% fold equity) you win T$1050.

So it the risk worth the small reward (from 6% to 16% increase in your stack)? Most players would say no.
