  • Multi-way all in

This hand happened in a PS $1K added satellite. These are always fairly tight, and when I re-raised all in I was trying to isolate De Hitman, whom I suspected of shoving light. I was surprised it ended up multi, although not so much when I saw the other hands. Any comments appreciated as always. That flop was rough, but you hit the turn. Actually, if you end up in a multi pot with KK, the best thing for you is for multiple of them to have an A.... it gives them less outs to draw at to beat you.

I don't think you did anything wrong here, I would make the same play. Your not folding KK preflop, with the stack sizes and size of "De Hitman" shove, might as well make the other's play for their tournament life as well.

Um...what's the question? KK is a standard shove for sure. You're beating everything except AA, and with everyone wellllll covered, you have to take that chance. You could also call to try to build this huge multiway pot...Looks like you didn't need to get tricky though--they were happy to get it in.

          I like the shove.

Curious why you thought De Hitman was shoving light over an utg min-raiser, was the utg player a chronic raise/folder? A7 seems very marginal in this spot to me. Not that it matters, with KK you don't care, ship-it-e-do-da. Just curious on the read.

I probably should have mentioned it in the original post, there had been at least one previous shove light. I don't remember the exact cards on the previous shove, but he hit and won that pot at showdown. I often have trouble ranging opponents, but in this case was almost positive my kings were good.

I had been fairly aggressive at this table, but hadn't lost a showdown at this point, that was why I was kind of surprised to get the other 2 callers behind.

              Thanks to all who commented.

              Good luck!!
