      The nuts is the best hand possible.

      A gutshot is an inside straight draw. ex: we have 89 and the flop is QJ3. We would need a ten for a straight.

        Here's a question for ya. Where can i find the other definition of the terms people use at the tables like the famous donk bet, nit, slow roll angle raises etc...

                EV is expected value, so it's whether we expect to gain or lose chips or money in a hand.

                To determine the EV of a spot it's our hand equity (what % of the time our hand wins) - our pot equity (the number of chips we need to call divided by the size of the pot after our chips go in).

                One way to get an article on the subject would be to put EV in the search at the top right.
