  • Setting up a bluff

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AruEHq5NzxI In this video, Daniel Negreanu talks about how to set up a bluff using any of these three methods:
1)re-raising opponent's raise on the flop
    2)Check-raising bet on the flop
    3)Check-raising bet on the turn

When would it be a good time to use #1 and #2?

#1)Seems to be good to use if you have like a gutshot draw and a top/middle pair,a top/middle pair and open ender(up-and down straight draw), top middle pair with an open-ended flush draw and straight draw.
#2) Seems to be good to use when you have set or two pair on a dangerous board like [2c 3c 4c] or like a coordinated rainbow flop like [9s 7h 6c]

In setting up a bluff.. make it look like a value bet. If it doesn't, then every observant opp will be able to determine it's a bluff.
