Is it a good idea when the blinds are small to call as the small blind with marginal hands like Q9S or K8O, With having to put up such a small amount is this good strategy?

Due to the positional disadvantage postflop, the SB should be the position at the table that I want to play the absolute least number of hands from. Playing too many because it's cheap with marginal cards is a HUGE leak a number of players have.

Thanks for the confirmation. A friend and I were talking about this and his theory was at the least it gives you the chance to see the flop but my reasoning was crap is crap no matter what it costs.

yes it is a leak overall, but depending on the player your up against can be a good spot, i nearly play any 2 cards against a fish, but i play mainly tourneys, cash games would be different
