A freeroll tournament is one with no buy-in, but with real prizes. It's a game in which you can't lose anything. Freeroll tickets are often given as part of a promotion. The Open Skill League, for example, is a series of freerolls for pokerschool members, with real money prizes. Another definition of a freeroll is when you're all in with the the nuts against someone else with the same hand, but you have a redraw to go with your hand. e.g. If you held and your opponent held and you got all in on , you both have the Broadway straight, but you're freerolling with a flush draw to go with it. You can't lose the hand, but you might scoop the whole pot, so you're freerolling.

      Hello Palimo B,

Welcome to PokerSchoolOnline. Here's a short video about PSO and what it has to offer you. Also check out >>This Page<< for more info.

Like Arty mentioned a freeroll is a tourney that costs you nothing to enter. They are a great way to help you build up a bank roll and get started so if you get the chance try and play some.

We're here to help you so please feel free to ask any questions you may have and thank you for being a member of PokerSchoolOnline.
