  • How so many

I have ben playing a couple of mtts, recently and noticed some people playing 10-15 tables at once. How is that at al possible!!

It's possible, but take a good bit of hard work and practice. I used to be able to only play 1-2 tables, but now I've worked my way up to 6-7 that I can play comfortably. Good luck at the tables.umbup: John (JWK24)

it is not too difficult to play a few tables, specially if you use a nitty style.
just add table while you think it does not interfere too much with your ROI too much.
if you can play one SNG with 15% ROI but 10 with 2% ROI your hourly will be higher multitabling than singletabling.

to help them some players use a bunch of different tools to make it easier: HUDs, notetaking tools, hotkey setups to get rid of mouse, auto-registering tools and so on but they are not really necessary

        Practice

I can remember a time when 2 tables pickled my head but I'm like John and can comfortably play my A game with 6-8 tables open.

As I'm a STT/ MTT player, I generally start 10 tables and play them out. This means I can nit up at the start but give more concentration as I get KO'd from games. If it's a 45 man game I've usually around 4 tables left when it comes to the final table bubble. If it's a 9 or 6 man STT, I'll just open up another table if I get KO'd.

It's all about practice but what I will say is I notice players playing 15-24 tables and playing break even poker at best. Get your game right first and then tweak it before multi tabling. If you make any mistakes then you will just multiply them by playing more tables.

One other point, there is software (that Pokerstars allow) that helps you multi table easier. Things like registering tables and pressing the time bank can all be automated. I personally don't use anything but I have tried it and it's really useful.

          Hello KarlSlevin,

Welcome to PokerSchoolOnline. Here's a short video about PSO and what it has to offer you. Also check out >>This Page<< for more info.

Like everyone has said it just takes practice. As you become more experienced some of the decisions you make become a lot easier and more routine so it takes less concentration for the more standard hands. This means you can spread your concentration over more games. Personally I find it gets a bit overwhelming after 8 or so tables but I know some people player over 20 without any problems. As you get better why not try adding another table if you're comfortable and see how it feels.
