  • Getting overall play analyzed

I really could do with getting my overall play analyzed. I thought I was playing correctly but the way my bankroll decreases there must be something I am missing in my strategy.

can anyone direct me either to a forum posting where I can put my last 100 hands out in XML file and get feedback. I could only see single hand analysis options on the forums so far.

Hi mdkb123, Welcome to PSO! I think you will get more out of focusing in detail on one problem at a time rather than wanting a "quick fix" for everything. I suggest you look through your hand histories and pick out a hand or two where you lost big pots, or had problems and post them in the Hand Analysis section. This is a great way to improve. I analyze hands, but I also post my own problem hands every month. I can promise you that you will get a very indepth look at your hand. Typically problem hands exemplify leaks that common in your game such as bet sizing, postion, ranging opps, board texture, etc. If you are looking for a general approach, there are a bunch of fantastic videos (FREE)! Find some for your favorite format and compare how the trainer is playing/advocating to your own. GLumbup: Roland GTX

One option besides big pot hands, is to post hard decision hands. The more correct decisions you make the better your bankroll grows, well it shrinks slower first. The decision process is critical in poker, as in life. In poker you have less time to act however. Although there will be some peculiarities to each and every hand, you will face many similar situations. Studying enough to be familiar with these situations (like an over pair on a dry board against a LAG) that your thought process speeds up dramatically.

        Good decisions!

I've considered asking the same thing, mostly inspired by Leakfinder series that xflixx does. Do you run any HUD software? If so, I've found an article that can let you set up leak finding things, for example:**deleted link per TOS JWK24** I guess you can ignore the software specifics and figure out what they're saying there and maybe you can find the hands even without the software.
