    Hi,

    are there any general guidelines how to play against particular tight and passive players? Or against loose and passive players?

    Hi Beginner358, When playing against passive players we should always stay aggressive regardless of whether they are playing loose or tight. If they come out betting strong post flop usually it means they have hit a hand, why else would a passive player bet strong? If they check post flop usually it means they have missed the flop and it's a good spot for us to exploit by betting. In general aggression is good in poker. It a style where you will make more bets and raises than calling or checking, in order to swing the game in your favour. Raiser. umbup:
