    Hi Norman,

    ROI = Net winnings / Total Buy-in = 12.79 / 52.50 = 24.4%

    Although 15 events is too small to confirm this ROI, you are off to a great start. Keep up the good work.

    As to the early outs, it depends on the situations you found yourself in. Typical STT strategy is to play tight early on and widen your range and up your aggression as the table shortens. But smart LAG play from the start can also be profitable, especially at a loose, passive table.

    Good decisions,

    Joe

        Sorry Norman,

        Its easy to drop into poker speak here.
        STT = Single Table Tournament
        LAG = Loose AGgressive, a player who enters a lot of pots and bets and raises more than checks and calls.

        Sorry again,

        Joe

            percent ITM is easy too 6 (in the money finishes) divided by 15 (# of tourneys) gives your percent of .4 or 40% ITM or 6/15=.40
            May the tinfoil protect you. MT

              At the price level you're playing, you qualify for the Battle of the Planets Promotion. Just one bad thing. You need to play another five games before the end of this week.

              Based on your finishes, you have a total score of 252 points as of this date. Maximum points avalable at this level of play is an additional 225 points. Don't think you'll make the extra bonus, but you should check it out.

              Go to PokerStars dot com and search the promotions. A faster way is to just google the term "battle of the planets."

              Regardless of the score, you're positive. That's always the goal.

                I would just like to thank you all for the help and advice you all gave me. I am going to stick to my challenge and now thanks to Cairn I am also going to keep an eye out on my points for the battle of the planets aswell. This is goin to keep me busy for awhile, and keep me away from those hyper-turbo tourneys that I have been losing badly on. Challenging youself is the way to go its AWESOME!!!!! umbup:umbup:

                  Hi Norman, if you've loads of games under your belt then Holdem Manager and Poker Tracker both give a free trial. Read up on setting them up before you download the trial as you want to use the time carefully. Another option is enabling your name on Sharkscope.com, everyone who searches your username can then see your stats but you get 5 free searches per day to analyse your game. You can always hide your username after you've done what you need it for.

                  HTH.
